Bernard passed away in his 101st year at Linhaven Home for the Aged in Saint Catharines on June 12, 2021. Bernard will be missed by his son, Harry Mudge. Dear brother of the late Herbert, Walter and Harry O. Mudge and survived by sisters-in-law Linda Mudge and Marge Mudge and all remaining family members.
Bernard was born in Michigan and later went on to be a World War II Veteran in the Royal Canadian Artillery and Canadian Provost Corps.
Bernard was actively involved in his community in Saint Catharines as a 65 year member of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, and as a valuable member of St. Mark’s Lodge #105. As per Bernard’s wishes, cremation has taken place and Bernard’s urn will be interred at Eastlawn Cemetery at a later date.
