CARBONE, Leonardo It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leonardo on September 30, 2018 in his 87th year at the Juravinski Hospital, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Fausta Rita (nee Rogano). Dear father and father-in-law of Emily Bucci and the late Joseph Bucci, Luigi and Lisa Carbone. Cherished Nonno to Adam (Stephanie), Matthew (Patricia), Stephanie, Andrew, Daniel, Christian, Sarah, and Bisnonno to Arianna and Damian. Dear brother to Cesira and the late Giovanni Xamin, Maria and the late Luciano Lucente. Predeceased by his parents Luigi and Emilia Carbone. Also predeceased by family members Carolina and Rocco Acciardi, Elena and Giovanni Vigna, Maria and Angelo Mancuso, Giovanni and (Tina and Lidia) Rogano, Franca and Luigi Scaramella, Leonardo and Rachele Rogano. Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends in Canada and in Italy, especially his dear friend Eliana who worked closely with him for the last few years. Leonardo was the proud owner and operator for over 50 years of Leonardo’s Barber Shop and Hairstyling in Hamilton, and he will be sadly missed by all his clients and friends. Thank you to all of them for their loyalty over the years. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Juravinski Hospital for all their care and compassion.
Resting at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. E. (near James) on Tuesday, October 2nd from 2-4 and 5-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers on Tuesday at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at All Souls Church. Entombment to follow at Bayview Cemetery, 740 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington.
