Peacefully at home in Port Dover on Saturday, June 19, 2021 in his 89th year. Cherished husband of Louise Hammond. Beloved father of Cheri Witham (late Bob), Barb Campbell (Clayt), Jennifer Hammond-Fick, and Aaron Hammond-Fick. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents Elsie and Earl Fick, brother George Fick, and son Steven Fick, dear son-in-law of the late Ruth Hammond and brother-in-law Doug (Bonnie) Hammond. He will be greatly missed by many dear friends and family both near and far. Bud retired from Ball Packaging (American Can) after 32 years and enjoyed his lakeside life to the fullest. “It is eternity now. I am in the midst of it. It is about me and the sunshine.”
