Leanne Michelle (Rudolph) McKnight

Leanne Michelle (Rudolph) McKnight

1972-2021
On Monday, June 14th, our family suffered a devastating loss. Leanne Michelle Rudolph passed away suddenly, surrounded by her devoted family members who were hoping for a miracle, but it wasn’t to be.

She leaves behind her soulmate and partner, Wayne Bucci, loving parents Sharon and John Rudolph, sister Tanya Dawdy (Rob), niece and nephew Jessica and Ryan Dawdy, and many friends, including her co-workers at Chadwick and Hacks. But her two precious sons, Sebastian and Alex McKnight, were her biggest joys in life. She lived every moment for them and her pride in them will live on forever.

She will always be with us, in our hearts, whenever we gather. She was the light and glue of the family, bringing us all together and making sure we knew we were loved. Leanne brightened the room with her presence, smile and infectious personality. We will think of her always, especially when we see someone on a paddleboard, when we see soap bubbles in the air, when we see a bright red car, and when we gather for family parties.

Leanne lived her life to the fullest, and in her upbeat and positive way, she took us all along with her on the ride. She will always be young, vibrant and beautiful in our hearts. We will never forget her and will love her forever. The family would like to thank the medical staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their valiant efforts to save Leanne’s life. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Visitation will be held at Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home (378 Wilson St. E., Ancaster) on Sunday, June 20th and Monday, June 21st.

Due to COVID restrictions, please call the funeral home at 905-648-3852 to book a time to visit. Please sign the online Book of Condolence at www.dbancaster.ca.
