Passed away peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital with her family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Raymond, her parents Melville and Frances Springstead, and her sister Gerry Thompson (Gary).
Beloved mother to her two sons, Shawn Harris (Kimberly) and Mark Harris (Cheryl). Dear sister to Cheryl Gregan (Doug). Melva also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
In respecting Melva’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
