ALLEGA, Fiorella (Florence) Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Fiorella passed away in her 84th year on Wednesday, March 27, 2019.
Beloved wife of the late Luigi Allega and dearest mother of Franca Ciancone (Frank), Angelo (Florina), and Lido (Jane). Proud nonna of Alicia Biturajac (Matthew), Cristina Barbati (Benny), Robert Ciancone, Amanda, Lucas, and Anthony Allega. Loving Bisnonna to her “shining star” Scarlett. Predeceased by her parents Umberto and Giovannina Sablone, brothers Angelo and Pierino, and sister-in-law Anna Sablone. Dear sister-in-law of Edelinda Frisina and the late Davide, Mario Allega, Paolo and Silvia Allega, Zelia and the late Luigi Cicconi. Predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Domenico and Francesca Allega. Fiorella is also survived by many nieces and nephews in both Canada and Italy. She will be sadly missed by her many friends at the Trieste Bocce Club.
A Special thanks to Dr. Clase and the professional and dedicated team of nurses and staff at 7th floor, Nephrology, St. Joseph’s Hospital for their compassionate care of our mother in her last few days.
Visitation will take place on Friday, March 29, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL (43 Barton St. E). Vigil Prayers to take place at 8:30 p.m.. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Church (20 Idlewood Ave.) on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington.
