BORYS, ANNA Anna Borys passed away peacefully at the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre on January 7, 2019 in Toronto, at the age of 93, after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s.
She was predeceased by her husband Mike Borys, who passed away in 1992. Together, they had 5 children, Jerry (Anna), Ivan, Denis (Gloria), Susan (Bruce) and Michael (Joanne). She will be missed by her grandchildren, Jenna, Joshua, Devon, Kira, Matthew, Ashley and Andrew. She was also a great-grandmother to Riley and Sadie.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre for making her final years as comfortable as possible and taking care of her with compassion and respect. They are truly “angels” for the work they do.
There will be a private family service.
