ARISTOMO, Santo

ARISTOMO, Santo 09/28/1930 – 04/13/2019 It is with shattered hearts that we announce the passing of Santo Aristomo. He leaves behind his wife Adele Lina (nee Macaluso) that he adored and took such good care of him until the end, his daughters Silvana and Sandra (Pat) Villani that he would die for, his grandchildren that he was so proud of Fabrizio (Clair), Michelle (Shaun), Natasha (Vince), Brandon (Paige), Bianca (Nick), and his great-grandchildren that were absolute joy to him, Caleb, Layla, Sofia, Stella, Domenic and Matteo.

Santo came to Canada in 1958 from Italy with his very young wife and four month old daughter, so his family could have a better life. He loved Canada so much that God help anyone that would make a negative comment about living here. He was living the dream.

Santo will be missed by his brother Giuseppe (Zina), and his many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law that he loved like brothers and sisters. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends from Canada, Italy and the United States.

We would not have had Santo in our lives for as long as we did if it wasn’t for the amazing Doctors and Nurses that took such good care of him, special thank you to Doctors Pray, Magliore, and Kerigan, Nurses Suzy, Rosella, and Manny, just to name a few, the PSWs that came to the house to help, the ER staff at the General Hospital, Paramedics and Firemen for your kindness and compassion. We will never forget you.

Visitation is at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. E., on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 2-4 and 5-9. Vigil prayers on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be offered at All Souls Church on Thursday April 18, 2019 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington.
