AUSTIN, Roy Douglas Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 9 at the age of 92.
Beloved husband of the late Ethyl Austin. Loving and devoted father of Mark (Mary), Tim, Steve (Silvia), Phil (Nina), Dan (Michelle) and pre-deceased by his daughter Ruth. Caring grandfather to Stephen, Simon, Spencer, Megan, Deanna, Ala and Phillip, and great-grandfather to Elliot.
Born in Meaford, Ontario, Roy was always a hard working man. Above all, a man of faith and a true gentleman. Roy was very kind, caring, humble and honest. He always had a smile and a great sense of humour. A rare soul. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
Cremation has taken place and immediate family will celebrate his life privately as he and Ethyl will be interred together. We extend sincere appreciation for the love and care he received from everyone at Willowgrove LTC.
