BAKKER, Dirk Fredrik It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dirk on Friday, February 8, 2019 in his 82nd year.
Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (2013). Devoted father of Rick (Denise) and James (Tara). Adoring Opa to Alex, Emily, Summer, Heydon and Kenzly. Dirk leaves behind many family and friends in both Canada and the Netherlands.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff at St. Elizabeth Retirement Residence.
Cremation has already taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 163, 435 Limeridge Road East, Hamilton on Saturday, March 9th from 11a.m. – 3 p.m.
