STAINTON, BETTY CAROL (nee MORRISON) After an extremely short battle with cancer and with family by her side, Betty passed away at her home in Niagara-on-the-Lake on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at the age of 82.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Ronald Stainton, son Brock McBrien, brother Ross Morrison and parents Angus and Lyda Morrison; Betty leaves behind her son Mark McBrien (Sandy), daughter Gail Easterling (Gary), granddaughter Katie Easterling (Mark), grandson Brock Easterling (Christina) and great-grandsons Trent, Spencer, Grady and Carter.
Betty enjoyed many years of travel with Ron in their Roadtrek RV crisscrossing Canada and the United States before settling down as snowbirds in the Port Charlotte area of Florida. With a love of entertaining and a passion for planning social events, Betty greeted everyone with a beaming smile and a warm hug. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
A private family interment will be held in the weeks to follow at Lakeshore Cemetery in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
