BITTNER, Wilfred WWII VETERAN from October 1944 to October 1946 In his 93rd year. Passed away peacefully at the Hospice Huntsville. Beloved husband of Helen Bittner. Much loved father of Wendy Cox, Wayne Bittner and grandson Travis Cox.
Wilf was an aviation enthusiast who built and flew two airplanes, both which are still flying today. He was a life long member of E.A.A. (Experiment Aircraft Association of Hamilton). He was in the process of building and designing a third one-seater aircraft, left unfinished. He was also member of the Emsdale Flying Club for many years.
