PETRON, BORIS WILLIAM Passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on January 7, 2019, one week shy of his 92nd birthday.
Beloved husband to Jenny Petron, and father to Kathy, Elaine, and William. Loving brother-in-law to Dianne Ivanoff. Big brother to Walter Morgan. Beloved father-in-Law to Donald Squibb, William Henry, and Nubia Petron. Inspirational grandfather to Steven, Jennifer and Robert Squibb; Alex, Lara, and Virginia Henry; William and Nicole Petron.
Boris graduated with a Chemical Engineering degree from University of Toronto in 1950. He wore his professional engineering ring with pride throughout a successful career with DRG Packaging. Boris will be missed by his close circle of friends in Oshawa as well as his family. His favorite conversation starters were: “What can I do for you?”, “What’s new and exciting?”, and “Do you have any confessions?”. He inspired his family to be their very best, leading by example with his generosity, selflessness, hard work, and integrity. He now looks down on us from the heavens as his “heart soars like an eagle”.
As per Boris’ wishes, a gathering of family and friends to celebrate his wonderful life will take place in June 2019. Date and time will be made available when confirmed.
