BOZZO, Rosina (nee Filice) lt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mama, nonna and bis-nonna.

Rosina passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, March 17, 2019 in her 100th year. Predeceased by her husband, Antonio. Cherished mama of the late Angela Gervasi, Mary (Frank) Veltri, Carmine (Frances (Kathy) Bozzo, Lucia (lgnazio) Fazari, Lina (Sergio) Mastella, Frank (Mary) Bozzo and Ben (Judi) Bozzo. Deeply missed by her 17 nipote (grandchildren) and 20 pro-nipote (great-grandchildren). Beloved sister and sister-in-law of Pasquale (Maria) Filice, late Rosaria, the late Maria (Carmine) Bozzo, Assunta (late Eugenio) Bozzo and the late Cosimo (Ida) Filice. Sister-in-law of the late Anna (Pietro) Bozzo, Santo (Emilia) Bozzo, Giuseppe (Francesca) Bozzo, Michele (Clementina) Bozzo, Marianna (Giuseppe) Fortino, Carmine (Marietta) Bozzo, Francesco (Rosina) Fortino, Pietro Bozzo, Teresa (Guiseppe) Filice, Assunta (Pietro) Fortino, Ippolito (Elvira) Bozzo. She will be dearly missed by her good friend Gemma. Rosina is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Cosenza, Italy.

Rosina came to Canada in 1962, along with her family was the proud owner of Bozzo Meats. The oldest member of the Donnici Club; Rosina’s nipote and pro-nipote, as she fondly referred to them as, were her pride and joy.

The family would like to thank, Dr. Phan and the entire Arbour Creek staff for their tender loving care.

Visitation will take place at Friscolanti Funeral Home (43 Barton St E, Hamilton) on Wednesday, March 20th from 2-5 and 6-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass on Thursday, March 21st, 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua (165 Prospect St. N, Hamilton). Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington.
