BRELLISFORD, Laurie Ernest March 18, 1950 – March 10, 2019. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Laurie Brelllisford in his 69th year, at London University Hospital on Sunday, March 10, 2019.
He leaves behind his three children Tarrah (Adam), Paula (Grant) and Damian (Lindsay). He also leaves behind his pride and joy in his grandchildren Abigail, Ruby-Anne, Mary, Isaiah, Caoilainn, Audrey, Adam, Alastriona, Jaxon, Emmie, Lincoln and Leyla. Husband of many years to Sylvia. His beloved ‘fur-baby’ Chestnut will miss him. To know Laurie was to love him, he made friends everywhere he went up to and including the doctors and nurses providing his care over the past several months.
Laurie was an avid golfer and until the past few years could be found on the golf course several times a week. He was a long term employee of Dofasco, where he worked as a millwright for 40 years. Laurie’s love and radiant personality will live on through his grandchildren who were the light of his life!
A special thank you to the interprofessional healthcare team at London University Hospital, for providing compassion and hope to our beloved dad and family during his final days.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the SPCA of Hamilton or the transplant unit at London University Hospital. A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. East, Hamilton.
