BUIST, Robert Andrew Passed away peacefully in his 95th year.
Beloved and devoted husband of the late Audrey (nee Hickey) for 53 years. Together, they left a powerful and lasting legacy of love, caring, and devotion to family with all their children: Michael (Pat), Richard (Janet), Larry (Mirella), Barb (Jim) LeBlanc, and Lorraine (Tony) Fidani. Precious Grandad to eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. He was a proud supporter at many of the kids’ sporting events. He retired from CNR rail as a Train Engineer after 42 years. He enjoyed playing cards and was still shooting pool in the Association’s snooker league. He leaves behind his second wife Shirley Ruth Buist, whom he was married to for nineteen years. Survived by his brother Alec (Mary) and sister Marg Hutton. He is predeceased by seven other siblings. He will be deeply missed but he has left the best part of himself deeply embedded in all our hearts forever.
