BUSIC, Marija Peacefully passed away with her loving family by her side on Monday, March 18, 2019 at the age of 75.
Predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years, Ivan. Cherished mother of Robert Busic (Marija) and Suzana Maric (Pavo). Loving baka of Ivana, Marta, Michael, Dominik, Martina and Petra (Andrew). Dear sister of Kata Gojak (the late Josip) of Port Colborne and Josip Krpan (Terezija) of Croatia. Predeceased by her sister Terezija Rozic (the late Steve). Sister-in-law of Ana Miskovic (Luka), Reza Buza (Pava), the late Marko Busic (the late Manda) and the late Stjepan all of Croatia. Marija will forever live on in the hearts of many cousins, nieces, nephews, kumovi, extended family and friends in Canada and Croatia. Marija has been reunited with her parents Antun and Marija Krpan.

Visitation will be held at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (At Kenilworth) on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 6-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Catholic Church on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. Interment at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery on Mud Street in Stoney Creek to follow.
