CAMPBELL, Doris A. August 8, 1927 – March 31, 2019 It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Doris A. Campbell (nee Robicheau) on Sunday, March 31, 2019.
Predeceased by loving husband Wallace (1993). Devoted daughter of the late Walter and Mary Jane (Comeau) Robicheau, Doris was born in Digby, NS, raised in her beloved St. Andrews By-the-Sea, NB, and latterly of Hamilton, Ontario. Beloved mother of Bonnie Black (nee Campbell), Bruce Campbell, Wade Campbell, and Melanie MacCarl (nee Campbell), and mother-in-law to Murray, Cheryl, Barb, Mark († 2018), and Gord. Sister to Avis Dempster (nee Robicheau) of St. John, NB and predeceased by sisters Dorothy, Bernice (Bee) Campbell, Marion (Mame) Robicheau, and by brothers Reginald, Adrian, Arnold and Eric Robicheau. Beloved grandmother to Andrew (Jen), Michael (Courtney), Jennifer (Neal), Kristopher, Wade (Constance), Matthew, Mandi, Justin, Jesse and Danielle. Doris is also survived by her many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family and friends, who will remember her for her generosity of spirit, her laughter, her unending ability to get into mischief, and her many talents, including online scrabble. Doris was a friend and adopted mother, auntie, grandma, and grantie to many and she will be greatly missed.
