CLARKE, Norma Peacefully, with her family by her side, on Monday, November 12, 2018 in her 86th year, after a brief illness.
Beloved wife of Frank for 60 years. Much loved mother of Carolyn (Roman), Jim (Diane), Janet (Brad), and Stephen (Susan). Adored and fun-loving grandmother to Emily, Alexandra, Stefanie, Courtney, Jamie, Sarah, Natalie, Grace, Sean, Melissa and Ian. Survived by her siblings Ralph Jeffrey of Moncton and Marie (Fitzgerald) McNeil-Fry of Halifax.
Norma’s compassion and genuine interest in others made her many lifelong friends whom she cherished. She was an active volunteer with the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Red Cross Meals on Wheels and with St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church.
She will be dearly missed by her friends in the Bridge and Euchre clubs and the Probus Club of Burlington.
The family wishes to thank the home care providers at the Carpenter hospice and LHIN for their exceptional end-of-life care.
Memorial mass to be held at St. Raphael’s Church (4072 New Street, Burlington) on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 11 a.m. with reception to follow.
