It is with great sadness that the family of Darcy McDermott announces his passing on January 3, 2019 at age 25, at his residence in Hamilton.
Sadly, and greatly missed by his mother, Evelyn MacGillivary; father, Darcy McDermott; sister, Ashleigh Casey; brothers, Matthew McDermott, Andrew McDermott, Jeremy McDermott, Daniel McDermott, and Nicholas MacGillivary; brother-in-law Mike Casey; sisters-in-law, Emily Sylvia, and Chantal Lengel; nieces, Jaylynn, Kira, Maya and Rose; and nephews Karter, Jake and Gabe.
Junior loved the outdoors and SCUBA diving. He was eager to learn new things, going to get his G.E.D., attending truck school and held several licences. He was very creative and ran his own business. With his big heart he sponsored six children.
Goodbye to a wonderful son, brother and a beautiful soul. May you rest in peace.
We love you Junior, you will be missed.
