MARKLE, DAVID JENNINGS David passed away and went to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on October 23, 2018. Although we know he is in a far better place, he will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 56 years Phyllis (nee Lempriere). Cherished father of Kent (Janice) and Korine (Bruce). Loving grandfather to Chantel (Mark) and Joshua. Son of the late Lillian and David O. Markle. Brother to Doug (Pat), Lynda, the late Derek (Nancy, deceased).
David had been Vice President of Glenayr “Kitten” Ltd. Although Alzheimer’s disease robbed him of his memories, the disease did not take his good nature and gentle spirit. He was a gentle man and a gentleman.
Visitation will take place Friday, November 2nd, 7-9 p.m. and Funeral Service on Saturday, November 3rd at 11:30 a.m. at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home (8911 Woodbine Ave., Markham).
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Emily’s House in Toronto or the Sanfilippo Children’s Research Foundation.
