SCHAEFFER, Denis Matthew Peacefully, with his family by his side, on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at the Dorothy Ley Hospice, at the age of 59.
Beloved husband of Barbara for 34 wonderful years. Cherished father of Nicole (Livey) and Matthew. Loving father-in-law of Andrew Livey. Son of the late Veronique and Matija Schaeffer. Brother to Monica and the late Marc Schaeffer. He enjoyed every minute of his lifelong career as a chemical engineer. Denis will be remembered for his humour, generosity, joie de vivre and enduring love for his family.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel at 4933 Dundas St. W., (between Kipling and Islington Aves.) Etobicoke on Thursday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Clement Catholic Church, 409 Markland Dr., Etobicoke, on Friday, September 14th, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Dorothy Ley Hospice.
