Di LEONARDO, Giuseppe Born April 28,1931. Surrounded by family, Giuseppe passed peacefully on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Juravinski Hospital.
He was born and raised in Santa Maria, Ortona Dei Marsi, Abruzzo, Italy, where he became a loving husband and father. In 1966 he immigrated to Hamilton, where his family continued to grow. Giuseppe will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Maria, of 64 years. Adoring father to Gianni (Ann Marie) Di Leonardo, Luciano (Sandra) Di Leonardo, and Silvano (Irene) Di Leonardo. Survived and loved by many grandchildren and his great-grandchild, Landon; his many nieces and nephews in Canada and in Italy. Loving brother of the late Antonio (Isolina), late Giovana (Rocco), and late Letizia (Tony). Giuseppe will be held forever in our hearts both here in Canada and by family in Italy as well.
Visitation will be at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL HOME (43 Barton St. East, Hamilton), on Wednesday, March 13th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. with Vigil prayers at 3:30 p.m. Mass will be on Thursday, March 14 at 9:00 a.m. at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Parish (corner of Barton St. and Nash Rd., 400 Potruff Rd. N., Hamilton, Ontario).
