WRIGHT, DIANA CATHERINE 1940 – 2018 Beloved daughter of the late Kenneth and Gladys Wright. Sister of the late David Wright (Elsbeth), Sharon Davidson and Julian Wright (Melanie) and great-aunt to Henry. Will be missed by her extended family and friends.
Diana was a truly loving and compassionate person. She devoted her life to caring for others, both in her job as a nurse and towards her family and friends. Her special skills were valued for 25 years in the palliative care unit at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto. Her devotion to her God shone through in all parts of her life. Diana was always there when she was needed, being unquestionably supportive. Her unique mix of enthusiasm towards life, generosity, gratitude, sense of humour and her spirituality will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Visitation will be held at ROSAR-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 467 Sherbourne St., on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at OUR LADY OF LOURDES CHURCH, 520 Sherbourne St., on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery.
