Dona Kay Campbell

Peacefully in her home on January 23, 2021, between her children Brian and Brenda, Dona laid down for a rest and went to be with her Lord, and Glen, her beloved husband of 62 years, her parents James Samuel and Ida Mae (nee Rogers) and her brother James Roger Little and many brother and sister in-laws and family and friends she cherished. Dona Kay Marjorie Mae was born April 19, 1937 in Kirkland Lake, Ontario Dear mother-in-law of Kathryn (née Pettipas) and Rick Ellison.

Grandma of Robb, Tyler (Emily), Karen (Taylor) and Brittany, and Great-grandma to Isobel, and sister-in-law to Beatrice (PEI)., and beloved aunt to all her nieces and nephews and greats and great greats. Dona began her work career at Eatons and was one of the beloved Elevator Ladies until she started her most important job as mother which she then combined with work becoming an Avon Lady, and owning two businesses, Total Toning being one and later becoming a Nanny. Also, an avid volunteer, first with Red Cross Nursing, followed by being a class mother, then many roles in Church, including Chair of the Deacons, to starting Templemead Community Council as first chair seeing Templemead Park developed and opened with a sun shelter; her caring for others will continue on as people use the park.

Dona was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and Linden Park United Church, Independent Order of Foresters, White Shrine and Past Matron of Rosedale Chapter OES #131 (Binbrook). Many thanks to all, especially the last few years, the LINN, Macassa Lodge Day Program, and wonderful PSW’s and family for their support especially Kim, Jennifer, and Jane who worked with her for many years.
