STEVENSON, DOREEN ALICE (nee COMPORT) Passed away peacefully at Trillium Health Partners, Mississauga, on Friday, August 17, 2018 at the age of 86.
Beloved wife of the late William. Loving mother of Larry and his wife Sharon and Debra Stavro and her husband Gary. Cherished grandmother of Christy, Thomas, William, Elissa and Alexa and great-grandmother of Madison, Terry and Brooklyn. Doreen is survived by her sisters Shirley Magee and Vivian Simms and is predeceased by her brother Edward Comport. Mom was a very social and vibrant person who always looked on the bright side of things and never complained. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was involved in her daughter’s dance studio Debra-Lynne School of Dance for 28 years before retiring. She loved her friends and “Happy Hour” at Viva Retirement Community in Mississauga.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment Springcreek Cemetery.
