DOUGLAS, John Earl Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on Friday, March 8, 2019, at the age of 75.
Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Graham). Loving father of Kimberley Taylor (Andrew) and Todd (Lee). Cherished grandfather of Owen and Erin. Dear brother of Gladys Woods, and predeceased by his three sisters Betty, Christina and June. He will be dearly missed by extended family and friends.
John was a 20-year member of the Burlington Oldtimers Hockey Club.
Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Friday, March 15th from 3 – 5 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m., where a Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, March 16th at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. Cremation has taken place. Interment St. Philip’s Cemetery, Toronto at a later date.
