MULLROONEY, E. Rita (nee McBRIDE) R.N. Passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre on October 24, 2018.
Graduate of Loretto Brunswick and St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing (1944). Beloved wife of 68 years to the late Thomas Mullrooney (2015). Loving mother of Kathleen, Patrick (Rhoda), Michael (Patricia) and Maureen (Jonathan Pickles, deceased). Devoted grandmother of Katie, Tom, John, Mark, Paul, Christopher, Kathleen, Matthew, Christy, Kevin and Sean. Proud greatgrandmother of Kristina, Nicholas, Sadie, Josie, Patrick, Andie, Alex and Max. Dear sister of Denis McBride, and the late Catherine Conway, Mary Menary and John McBride.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Rita’s life at Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Avenue West, Toronto, on Monday, October 29th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 30th at St. Monica’s Catholic Church, 44 Broadway Avenue, Toronto. Interment following at Holy Cross Cemetery.
