CHEAH, EDDIE ENG CHIN February 7, 1940 – October 18, 2018 Dr. Eddie Eng Chin Cheah passed away peacefully on October 18, 2018 at the age of 78.
Deeply loved by his wife of 51 years Ellen Miao Siang and their two sons Henry (Gillian) and David. Proud grandfather of Sophie, Andrew and Emily. Eddie is also survived by his brothers Boon Wah, Boon Giap and Eng Kean as well as his sisters Siew Lan, Siew Gaik and Janet Shew Kee. Greatly missed by many loving nieces and nephews. Eddie’s unwavering kindness and generosity to his family will forever be appreciated.
Eddie was born on February 7, 1940 in Lunas, Malaysia, to Cheng Joo Cheah and Geok Khaw. With great pride they saw him receive his medical degree from National Taiwan University in 1964. He practised as a dedicated paediatrician in Oshawa, Ontario, for almost 40 years only interrupting his career intermittently to pursue his lifelong passion for travel.

Visitation and reception will take place on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229).
