HARPER, ELEANOR RUBY (nee FACEY) October 9, 1930 – October 1, 2018 Died peacefully in her sleep. Predeceased by husband, Ian. Loving mother of Margaret, Jinty (Bob deceased), Sandra (Michael) and David (Susan). Cherished grandmother of Andrew (Becky), Ian (Jodie), Alison, Claire (Keith), Dianne, Karen, Hannah and Alexander. Beloved great-grandmother of Eve, Bronte, Austin, Finn and Walter.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 8th at 2 p.m. Cummer Avenue United Church, 53 Cummer Ave., North York M2M 2E5. In memory of Ruby, donations to Cummer Avenue United Church attention: “Drop Inn Program”.
Many thanks to the staff of Fountain View Care Community for their excellent care in Ruby’s last years. Ruby was one of a kind and touched many lives. As Ruby would say, “she has done her dash”.
