ATKINSON, Elizabeth Jean “Beth” (nee Rivington) Peacefully surrounded by her family at her residence, following a short but courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the age of 66.
Beloved wife of Ron Atkinson, Selkirk. Cherished mother of Cara Gilbertson-Boese (Mike), Ottawa and Brian Gilbertson, Calgary. Dear sister of Lynda Rivington and David Rivington. Former spouse of Lorne Gilbertson. Also lovingly remembered by her entire family, particularly nephew Graham Long (Ellen) and god-daughter Shannon Wyman. Special thanks for the excellent care given by Dr. Saliba, Dr. Thompson, Dr. Bellack and the entire palliative care team.
Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation PKWY), Ottawa, ON on Wednesday, July 18 from 4 – 6 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Service in St. Mary’s Anglican Church, 3480 Trim Road, Navan on Friday, July 20 at 11 a.m.
