Emelia Tattrie (Daigle), born 1923 in Rogersville, New Brunswick (Acadie). Died peacefully at Providence Healthcare December 17, 2018 at the age of 95 following a brief illness, having enjoyed remarkably good health well into her 90’s.
Mom to Joe, Roy (Carol) and Boyd (Vivian); Grandma to Jason (Rosemary), Daniel (Tracey) and Tanya; beloved GG to Kaileb, Jaidyn, Troy, and Emelia. She will also be missed by the family of Mike Dzingala, her longtime companion who passed away in 2015. Emelia will be remembered by family and friends for her warmth, her fierce independence, her outgoing personality, and her sense of humour.
A Celebration of Emily’s Life will be held at Trull Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 1111 Danforth Ave. ( just west of Greenwood Ave.) 416-465-4661 on Saturday January 12, 2019 from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to a local food bank in her memory would be appreciated.
