Susan Fitzpatrick June 8, 1949 – February 26, 2019 Susan Fitzpatrick of Ancaster, Ontario died peacefully at the age of 69.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandma and friend. Sue loved John, her husband of almost 50 years and her go-to golf partner. He stood by her side and supported her every step of the way throughout her illness. Sue had two passions in life – her grandchildren Olivia and Rhys (her angels), and her golf. Both of which would intertwine when she had new pictures and stories to tell about the latest grandchild accomplishment (yet, she still managed to find people that wanted to play with her). Kathleen and Neil always knew they would take a back seat to their children when it came to Sue’s attention, but her love for them was equally as strong. Kath became “The Rock” throughout Sue’s illness and that time they had together is cherished.
Sue was a long time Member and the Ladies past Captain at Hamilton Golf and Country Club. There she made dear friends that would be her network of support throughout the past year. Sue was an active member of her community and was always looking to give back through fund raising lunches she would put on, events she would plan, or helping a friend or neighbour in need.
John and Kathleen would like to thank all the wonderful staff at Juravinski Hospital – especially Dr. Barnfield, Cheryl, Deb, Jen P, Kelly and Gayle.

There will not be a service, but a party held in Sue’s honour at the Hamilton Golf and Country Club on Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 1-3 p.m.
The sun will shine, her beloved course will be green, and people will raise their glasses to one of the most amazing women her family and friends would ever hope to love.
