ASKIN, Frances Emma (née Totman) It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother.
Frances was born August 16, 1923 and passed away March 21, 2018 at Queen’s Garden. Loving wife of the late Samuel Cecil Askin. Cherished mother of Brian (Sandy), Dawn (Brian), Carol (Jim) and David (Janice). Granny will always have a special place in the hearts of her grandchildren Kelly, Steve, Matt, Courtney, Brenda, Kerrie, Randy and Mark. She felt blessed when the many great-grandchildren became part of her life.
Thanks to the staff of Queen’s Garden Long-Term Care Unit for their kindness and support.
Frances was a very self-reliant, caring and empathetic person who would always put her heartfelt concerns for family and friends before her own.
Funeral Services will be held at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home , 1919 King Street E., Hamilton on Saturday, April 14 at 11:00 a.m., Reception to follow.
