BELAJAC, Gerald (Gerry) It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing at the Juravinski Hospital on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the age of 84.
Loving husband to Jessie of 52 years. Dear father of Mike of Ottawa and Marie (Kelly) VanLouwe of Hamilton. Cherished Deda to Olivia and Jack. Survived by his brother George (Betty) of Orillia. Predeceased by his siblings Ellen Lawrence and Mike Belajac. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Gerry was a long-time employee of Dofasco. Growing up he enjoyed lacrosse, hockey and boating. He was a kind and gentle man who will be greatly missed by family, friends and neighbours. A very special thank you the staff of the Juravinski Hospital, Dr. Ryan McLeod and nurse Ann of the Hamilton Family Health Team and Bayshore Home Health.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2nd from 7-9 p.m. at the L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME , 151 Ottawa Street North (9-5-544-1147). A private family service will be held.
