GOODWIN, Arnold Alexander Peacefully, surrounded by family on January 4, 2019 at 62 years of age.
Beloved father of Becci (Ryan) and Megan (Justin). Cherished son of Arnold and Joan. Proud grandfather of Kiersten, Lucas, Payton, Delaney and Jake. Caring brother of Peter (Karen), Paul (Nancy), Brenda (Chris), and Linda (Mike). Arnold will also be missed by many other family and friends.
Arnold dedicated his life to his passion for fire fighting. With 30 years service as a full-time Fire Officer at the Hamilton International Airport, as well as volunteering for eight years as Captain at Haldimand County Station #10 and 10 years as Captain at Haldimand County Station #9. Arnold was also a lifetime member of both Niagara District Firefighters Association and Firefighters Association of Ontario.
A Celebration of Life will be held January 19th from 1 – 5 p.m. at Dunnville Station #9, 111 Tamarac St. Dunnville Ontario.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers that a donation be made in his honour to the Canadian War Plane Heritage Museum.
