PILICOSKI, Helen Marie (nee RICE) Passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 at Toronto Western Hospital. She was 96 years young. She was predeceased by her husband William in 1985. Helen leaves behind her sister Mary Hedges of Cambridge, Ontario, brother Patrick (Nan) Rice of Morden, Manitoba, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Helen enjoyed a large and varied circle of friends. Her passion in life was centered around her love for animals, particularly cats. She was a huge supporter of many rescue facilities, including ORA and PAWS.
Cremation has taken place, and interment of ashes will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, beside her husband Bill. We welcome Helen’s friends to join us for appetizers as we celebrate her amazing life. Saturday, October 27th, 1 – 3 p.m. Vegandale Brewery Restaurant, 1346 Queen St. West, Toronto.
