Passed away peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital, Brampton, ON, on Saturday, January 5, 2019 in his 91st year. John who was born to Alexander Black and Catherine King on June 24, 1927 in Dublin Ireland. John, beloved husband is survived by his wife Dorothy (nee Labelle). Loving dad of son John (Debbie) and daughters Cindi Johnson (Rick Bailey), Michele Racky and Patricia (Fede Daza). Much loved grandpa of Crystal, Darryl, Mike Black, Steve Johnson, Christopher Racky, Megan (Dave Griffiths), Eric Daza (Erin Hennessy), Stacey (Rob Ayres) and great grandchildren Russell, Cyrus and Soraya. John is also survived by his sisters Rita and Florrie.
Friends are invited to join John’s family at Andrews Community Funeral Centre, 8190 Dixie Rd, Brampton on Friday, January 18, 2019, visitation will start at 10:00 to 11:00a.m. followed by a service, light refreshments and burial at Riverside Cemetery.
