It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the Harvey family announce the peaceful passing of Irving Harvey in Brampton Civic Hospital on Monday, October 15, 2018 with family by his side.
Irving was born on October 3, 1937 in Boswarlos, Newfoundland to the late Otto Leslie Harvey and Cicely Rose. Loving father of Rickey (Carmelita), Melvin (Peggy), Cecily (Shawn Payne), Wanda (Chico Machado), Susan (Gord Chantler), Floyd (Kelly), Belinda (Clayton Shaw), predeceased by the mother of his 6 children, Marie Ellen (nee Hoskins) and predeceased by daughter Patricia. Cherished grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 9 great- grandchildren. Survived by sister Audrey (Tunney Hunt), brothers: John (Ann), Brian (Beverly), George (Diane) and predeceased by sister Phyllis Rideout. Irving will be missed by many friends and his large extended family here and back home.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 2:00pm..
