JOHNSTONE, Hazel Eileen (nee Wishart) It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother, nana, great-nana, sister, aunt and friend at the Palliative Unit of St Joseph’s Hospital on Friday, January 11, 2019.
Predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years Sandy (March 2018). Survived by her children Paula (Ted), Alex and Jason (Carrie). Wonderful Nana to Steve, Nicky (Lyle), Bobby, Jessica, Megan and Josh. Great-Nana to Hazelyn Goddard. Sister to Don (the late Margaret), Frank (Jenny), Tom (Margaret), Margie (Dave), John (Cathy). Predeceased by both her parents and sisters Jean and Judy. She will be missed by nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Lifelong friend of Sharon Burkholder.
Thank you to the staff on the Palliative Unit 4th floor, St. Joseph’s Hospital. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME , 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 11 a.m until the time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow.
