CARTER, Kenneth William Retired Optician Born in North Bay, Ontario in 1922. Died peacefully, at the age of 96, on Monday, June 25, 2018 at the Tony Stacey Centre for Veterans Care.
Beloved husband of the late Jean Isabel (nee Beresford) (died 2001). Beloved father of William James. Beloved grandfather of Matthew Ian and Andrew William. Beloved brother of the late Marge, Isabelle Winnifred (twin sister) and Terry. He will also be missed by his extended family in the Guelph area.
Optician for 54 years, worked at T. Eaton Company 1956 – 1972 and Partner at Delta Optical 1970 – 1992. Resting at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, Scarborough Chapel, 2900 Kingston Road (just east of St. Clair Ave. E.). Visitation on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Funeral service to commence on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the chapel.
Interment at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Special thanks to the staff at Markham Stouffville Hospital and the wonderful staff at the Tony Stacey Centre for Veterans Care.
