Kenneth William Goessaert passed away in his 67th year on December 20th 2018 in Toronto, Ontario. Ken will be lovingly remembered by his wife Maureen and sons William and Thomas, as well as his sister Pat (Larry), and his brother John (Laurie). Ken was predeceased by his father Bill, his mother Ruth, and his sister Sharon.
Ken savoured his early morning coffee and crossword page with a background of Jazz FM, Steely Dan, Bob Dylan, or whatever was last played on his turntable. He enjoyed audio magazines, and had the discerning ear to appreciate them. A constant and discriminating reader, Ken read and collected books, particularly 1st editions of Graham Greene and John LeCarre. Ken loved to share a round of golf or a baseball game with his boys, of whom he was extremely proud. In his professional life Ken dedicated 30 years to Compugen Systems, most recently as VP of Technology Lifecycle Solutions, from which he retired in February 2017.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Ken’s memory to Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation or SEED Kenya.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Jerrett Funeral home (1141 St. Clair Ave. W., Toronto, ON) on January 11th, 2019 from 5:00pm-8:00pm.
