KNIGHT, Patricia Anne (nee Wilmshurst) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Patricia Anne Knight, on December 30, 2018 surrounded by her family at the Hamilton General Hospital, in her 86th year.
Beloved wife of the late Henry Knight, and dearly loved mother of Jane (John) DeRoo, Pamela (Martin) Zack, and Anne Neziol, and her late husband Tom. Loving grandmother of Rebecca, Alex, Rachel and Joelle and great-grandmother of Sophie. Loving twin sister to Pamela (William) Holley, loving sister to Erna (Arthur) Gibson and to the late Robert (Moya) Wilmshurst and the late Harry “Bun” (Mildred) Wilmshurst. Patricia is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Patricia was born and raised in Toronto and moved to Hamilton with her husband to raise their family. She was a devoted wife and mother whose artistry and creativity filled the family home with love and beauty. Mom found joy in sharing her love of reading with others and was a strong supporter of animal rights.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the World Wildlife Federation or the International Fund for Animal Welfare.
A private family service was held January 2, 2019.
