KUPPE, Ursula Lydia March 15, 1937 – April 5, 2019 It is with profound sadness that we announce that, after a valiant struggle with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, our courageous mother, sister and grandmother, Ursula Lydia Kuppe passed away peacefully with her family at her side in Courtenay, B.C. Her loss is mourned by her daughter Petra, son-in-law Jon, grandchildren Iain and Andrea, daughter Ulricke, and her remaining family in Germany.
Ursula resided in the Comox Valley, Vancouver Island for the past two and one half years so that she could be near her family as her disease progressed. She will be brought home to be buried beside her husband Paul. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 26, 2019 at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 1010 Botanical Drive, Burlington, with service at 1 p.m. and interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
