Our family wishes to let you, our extended family and friends know of the recent passing of Len, the result of complications from surgery. He is predeceased by his parents Thomas Brown and Gladys (Edwards); brothers Russell and Rodney; and wife Gloria Serrick (he never remarried).
He leaves his children Lynda (Mike Gallagher), Len (Cindy Lowe); grandchildren Justin Gallagher, Rachel, Dylan, Maggie Brown; great grandson Hayden Gallagher; and sister in law Darlene Serrick. Len coached the Steel City Cookie Jar Rep Team out of the Barton Double Rinks and the Hamilton Huskies out of the Hamilton Forum; he played hockey with old boy leagues in Hamilton; was a phenomenal singer performing with the band Caravan in various clubs, Geritol Follies and for weddings and funerals .
An avid fisherman, he spent his summers in Bracebridge enjoying his favourite place, Northern Ontario. His children and grandchildren were the light of his life. “Just tell them I’ve gone fishing”.
