Lynn Leckie, age 70 of Brampton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 21st, 2018 surrounded by her family after a brief and unexpected battle with cancer.
She was born September 29th, 1948 in Toronto to the late Robert Stubbins and Audrey (Stubbins) Leckie (née Norman). A beautiful woman who, above any material possessions, cherished her family the most. She lived a life filled with simple pleasures surrounded by books, gardens and her loyal dogs. Lynn was very nurturing in everything she touched whether it was her lush gardens or the people around her.
Lynn was a Home Maker and an Administrative Clerk who lived most of her life in Brampton with her loving husband of 51 years, Reg Leckie. She was the adoring mother to Kim Zalewski (née Leckie). She is survived by her husband, her mother Audrey, her sister Brenda, her brother Bobby, her children Lori and Kevin and her grandchildren Jamie-Lee, Kaitlin and Andy.
We ask that you join us in celebrating Lynn’s life at Andrews Community Funeral Centre in Brampton on Sunday, October 28th, 2018 at 12 noon, followed by a Celebration of Life in the chapel at 1:00 p.m.
