MACKENZIE, Murdoch William April 2, 1933 – March 31, 2019 It is with great sadness we announce his passing on March 31, 2019 at Joseph Brant Hospital in his 86th year.
Beloved husband of the late Lois MacKenzie, loving father of John (Cynthia), Doug (Joanne) and Alexa, cherished grandpa of Kelley (Ryan), Alex (Trish), Connor, Adam and Megan and great-grandfather of Callum.
Affectionately known as “Murd” he loved life, his family and friends, his cottage at Go Home Lake, listening to the news and his much-loved Martinis. Murdoch was a member of East Plains United Church for the past 60 years, serving on many committees. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A memorial visitation will take place on Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 4- 8 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 1 p.m. at East Plains United Church (375 Plains Rd E, Burlington, ON L7T 2C7).
