Died peacefully on November 7, 2018, at the age of 91 and while in residence at The Cardinal Ambrozic Houses of Providence.
Daughter of the late Reginald and May Meade and eldest sister to the late Margot (Bob), John and Rod. Survived by her brother Edward (Laureen) and sisters-in-law Mary and Renee, respectively. Our mother was predeceased by her husband Robert in 2007, her youngest daughter Anna (Kevin) in 2012, her sister-in-law Joyce (Edward) in 2015 and her daughter-in-law Colette (Peter) in 2017. She leaves her daughter Ellen (Jim), sons Peter, Phillip, Frank (Michele), Mark (Mimi), Dennis (Carla), Tim (Theresa) and son-in-law Kevin as well as 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A private Funeral Mass was held at St. Gabriel’s Church. Our sincere gratitude is extended to Susan and to the staff at The Houses of Providence for the care our mother received.
A devout follower of the Catholic faith, our mother enjoyed music and the arts and wove all of her joys into her self-proclaimed and greatest calling – motherhood. We are forever grateful for the privilege of having called her Mom. May she rest in peace.
