DEAR, Melaine Marie (nee MARSHMAN) Died peacefully after a lengthy battle with cancer on Tuesday, June 26, 2018. Survived by her beloved brother Lawrence (Mary McConville), nieces Emma (Wes), Olivia and Rachel, nephews Benjamin (Kerry) and Zachary (Andrea) and great-nephews Noah and Wyatt.
Also survived by her stepbrother Don Viggiani and cousin Donna Viggiani. Predeceased by her parents Celestine Viggiani and Patrick Marshman, sister Lisa Black and brother Paul Viggiani. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Dr. LaDelpha and the nursing staff in the Palliative Care Unit at St. Michael’s Hospital. They would also like to thank Dr. Batejko and the nursing staff on the 4th floor at Our Lady of Mercy Wing at St. Joseph’s Health Centre. Melaine received dedicated and compassionate care in the final weeks and days of her life.

A Funeral Mass was held at Holy Rosary Parish on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. Interment of her ashes will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery at a later date.
