FLAHERTY, Michael E. (Mike) Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Villa, Dundas, ON. He was predeceased by his parents, James A. Flaherty and Margaret Flaherty (nee McKechrin).
Survived by his longtime loving companion, Betty McCoy and his brothers, Paul (Sylvia) and Gerald (Helen) as well as numerous nephews, nieces and great-nephews and nieces. Mike had a long and distinguished career with The Royal Bank of Canada. He served in numerous branches in Ontario as well as in Vancouver, Los Angeles and Amsterdam.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph’s Villa for the faithful care and attention with which they cared for Mike in his last years.
Cremation has taken place and a Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 181 Sewell Drive, Oakville, L6H 1E3.
